What was your first job?
I started mowing lawns when I was 11 years old, and through my teen years I had a variety of jobs including working as a dishwasher, grocery store stock boy, highway department laborer and even loaded underwater cable onto ships when I was in college. My first professional job paid me $11,000 a year working as a Legislative Correspondent in the U.S. Senate at the age of 20.
What professional accomplishment are you proudest of?
Being a successful entrepreneur. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it. I have started up six companies in my lifetime and each has been successful.
If you had to choose a different career, what would it be?
Professional baseball player, but unfortunately my fastball was never as good as my curveball.
